not really.  some friends an I used to go to a bar on thursday nights back during this past regular season and there would always be a game on.. but that's about it.  I'll watch a game every now and then.. the whole Beckham thing and all these other top quality players coming into the league certainly has grabbed my attention, but Europe is so much more sophisticated and entertaining that its hard to watch anything else.. even our domestic leagues  Embarrassed

I watched some MLS while I was over in the States and it was ok, nothing  great. Someone said to me that US goalkeepers seem to model themselves on hockey goalies, ie block/parry rather than catch, making for more goalmouth action. It's not an inconceivable notion that the meddling TV companies would prefer higher scores...

Saying that, we currently have the US national goalkeeper on trial with us just now...  Roll Eyes Undecided

goalkeeping is the United States strong point.. we just need the opposite end of the pitch to catch up.  Which one of our keepers is on trial with Celtic? (i'm assuming that's what you mean)

If Arsenal can keep their squad together, in a few years they'll be one of the best teams in the world. Right now, however, they're too young a team to put up much of a prolonged fight against the bigger teams. I still love to watch them play though, Wenger is a genius.

Still think they'll win the league this year.
PS can someone take Hicks and Gillette back home?... please...

The title is Man Utd's, I'd put money on it if I cared.

Depends really on how Arsenal cope until they get the Toure and Eboue back from the African Nations.  If there sill within six points they've got every chance.  Also Man Ure surely have a bad patch coming.  We can live in hope anyway.

He's been offered a deal.

I'd love Boruc to stay for the rest of his career, but that's not going to happen and I've only heard good things about this guy so we'll see...
