Man, I want the ocean. Then again, I wouldn't have a camera to capture it with. No big loss, I guess. Great looking photos, Jeff. I think this has been asked, but have you been doing any portraiture?

Oh man. The one of the building is spectacular. And . . . pretty sure we have the exact same glasses. Triple score hi-five.

Love the black and whites.

Then again, I've always been partial to Ansel  Grin

jeff - i seem to remember reading at one point that you shoot with a nikon d50.  which is the bee's knees, because i do too.  Smiley

got any recommendations for a decent macro lens?  i'll cough up if i need to, because i'm getting so frustrated trying to do it with the two lenses i DO have.

Thanks everyone - I just got a better handle on my B&Ws.  The tonality especially.

Actually, I shoot with a D200 now, but will always have a soft spot for my D50.

I use a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX Macro lens - it's very good.  I bought it used a few years ago and it has held up very well.

Seriously, pm or email me if you're interested - I'll need to redo it to print since it's too small now but I give a nice PA.com discount. Smiley

Found an old Kodak point-and-shoot no one in my family was using. Since I'm out a camera I've been experimenting with it . . . definitely not what I need, but I'm fairly pleased with the results of my experimentations.

That last one I was messing with the long exposure option on . . . you have to access the damn menu to change shutter speed, and forget about aperture. Oh, well. I should be grateful, I guess.
